My name is Kevin, I’m eleven years old from YK Pao school G5.
In October, my family and I went to UK to visit schools and take some assessments. One of my favourite schools I visited was Eton, it is the No. 1 boy’s college in UK, also it’s my dream school.
When I arrived at Eton, all I saw were buildings which were a mix of ancient and modern times. After a while, a tall and handsome volunteer came, he was a Y10 student wears Eton School uniform-black Tuxedo was the trip guide around Eton of our family. He was extremely nice and confident , I think he was my future model!
Our journey started from visiting their dormitory-Block B, every student there had his own ensuite room which was very cozy and comfortable space for them. The dining room was on the ground floor, and the living room was on the first floor, pupils can share those rooms.
Our next stop was the library, it has a big round roof and tens of thousands of books in it, you would even need a ladder to climb up to get one book! It has different sections, so you can read books of various genres, such as fiction, non-fiction, astronomy, history etc. My favorite part of the school site was the Science Building. It contains a huge number of labs and tools for you do experiments with an interaction wall where you can research things on.
The building also had many sections: science, physics, biology and chemistry. The science part provides with the facilities for many types of experiments and also some equipment. The Physics section has some kind of machines to run tests with. The chemistry part allows you to test on different substances elements, you can mix them together and observe them react.
In conclusion, I think it was a well-organised trip.
It covered many things that I like in this school, such as science and music libraries and also the atmosphere. I hope that I can pass all assessments and get the offer, if so, I promise to study harder！
