Tudor Hall was founded in 1850 as a boarding school for girls aged between 11 and 18 and has, since 1946, occupied an extensive parkland site in Wykham Park near Banbury in Oxfordshire. Tudor Hall benefits from proximity to the cultural centres of Oxford, Stratford  upon Avon and London.

The school provides a supportive and caring community in which all girls develop as individuals to reach their full potential. Pupils are encouraged to challenge themselves not only to achieve academic excellence but to look for life-enriching opportunities  that will enable them to achieve more than they ever believed possible. Pupils participate in projects locally and overseas to the benefit of those less fortunate than themselves.
They leave the school as motivated and confident young women, ready to embark on the next phase of their lives.

Academic Profile
Our exceptional results at GCSE speak for tnemselves with 69% of all grades being A*-A,88%A*-B and 99%A*-C.Over 33% of  the  grades achieved were A* and 25% of  our  girls achieved all A*s  and  As.

Our A level results, which are our best in five years, are outstanding. Many students gained top grades across the board and progressed to top universities. 83% of all grades being A*-B and 96% A*-C is something to be celebrated .The majority of girls went on to Russell Group universities with Bristol,Durham,Edinburgh,Exeter and Newcastle being popular destinations. The courses vary enormously but range from Biomedical Sciences and Anthropology to Business Management and Economics.

Girls live in their year groups and are also part of a four house system where they mix with girls from all years.
Each year group has a purpose built house and undergo regular refurbishment.

We recommend that most girls take nine GCSE's so that they gain the best grades needed for university entrance whilst participating fully in a wide range of extra-curricular activities to a high standard. Most girls take three A Levels depending on their chosen destination after school. Many girls take a GCSE in dance or another language whilst studying for their A Levels.
